The ask
Install usable lighting for all pedestrian pathways, the playground, and the tennis courts so they can be used at night, until around 9 or 10 pm, similar to Glen Park.
Why it matters
Lighting was the #1 priority in our 2025 Priorities survey (N=200).
Pathways don't feel safe at night with current lighting, which is often broken. Parents can't use the playground, and people can't use the tennis and basketball courts after sunset, which comes around 5 pm in winter.
Priority spots include the pathways by the bathroom and playground, and by the entrance to the baseball fields on Sgt. John V. Young Lane.
