2025 Priorities survey: what 200+ neighbors want for Balboa Park
Lighting, a complete walking loop, and an open Boxer Stadium top the list. These results guide our work.
Over 200 local residents responded to our 2025 Priorities survey, sent in English, Chinese, and Spanish. Here's what they told us.
Top priorities (N=200)
- Lighting for pathways, the playground, and tennis courts
- Completing the pathway around the baseball fields (over 63%)
- Opening Boxer Stadium to the public
- Art in the park
- Pickleball courts
Chinese-language survey (N=50)
- Space for Tai Chi
- Table tennis
These results shape our asks to Rec & Park and the projects on this site.
