Balboa Park selected for a Big Art Loop sculpture

Balboa Park has been selected and approved to receive a Big Art Loop sculpture, slated for installation in early 2027.

Art was the #4 priority in our 2025 Priorities survey, and this spring Big Art Loop reached out about placing a piece in the park. We're thrilled to see it come together. Thanks to those who responded to our survey about what kind of art people wanted. Check out the results of the survey.

We're still looking for more places to bring art to the park, including the corner of Ocean & San Jose, the pool building walls, and the Havelock bridge.
