We joined the SF Public Space Collective
Friends of Balboa Park is fiscally sponsored again, so we can fundraise and apply for grants.
When SF Parks Alliance closed in early 2025, we lost our fiscal sponsor and with it the ability to fundraise and apply for grants like the Community Challenge Grant.
We've now joined the SF Public Space Collective, with fiscal sponsorship through Contina Impact. Friends of Balboa Park is once again a fiscally sponsored 501(c)(3), which means donations may be tax-deductible and we can go after funding for the projects neighbors have asked for.
